About Me

Born in Clearwater, Florida, early on he was designated as the family historian. This is because ever since he was a child, Erik Stellmach always had a camera in his hand. He was taking photography classes throughout high school using traditional film then going digital as the technology advanced. While working in dark rooms, he learned to develop film by the age of 16. Erik even had several pictures printed in the local newspaper and posted online news sites. Upon graduating from high school Erik entered the U.S. Marine Corps and traveled to many countries where he saw things that he wanted to show to the world.  

Erik has always chosen to remain an independent photographer. His studio is the world: "I love creating imagery that captures a moment in time, but I also like spending time with a family, creating a memorable portrait. I really have no preference, every shoot is a unique challenge with unique possibilities."
